Whole grain tomato pouch with meat filling
Preparation:
- Make a mound with the flour, creating a well in the center
- Mix together the egg, tomato paste, salt, oil, water, and spices
- Pour the mixture into the well of flour and knead the dough
I should mention right away: the dough turns out very stiff, so you'll need plenty of strength for kneading and rolling out ;-) But it can be rolled extremely thin! It doesn't stick to a silicone rolling pin and rolls out without needing extra flour.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, covered with a towel to prevent drying
- Roll it out as thin as possible
After that, it's up to your preference—make classic dumplings, ravioli, or shape them like little pouches, as I did.
Boil, then serve with fresh cucumbers!!!
