
Kvass
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. This recipe is appealing for its simplicity and use of natural ingredients. You can use this kvass to make cold soup (okroshka), bake homemade bread, or simply enjoy it to quench your thirst. For a more pronounced flavor and amber color, you can brew 2 tsp of rye malt; alternatively, if you don't like white kvass, you can toast bread crusts in the oven until dark and add them.
