Description

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Aromatic kvass is very popular in summer, perfectly refreshing and cooling. The drink takes 1 hour to prepare, but it must chill in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours, or even better — overnight. The drink is ready to serve.

    Prepare the listed ingredients. Mix the berries according to your taste.

    Rinse the berries in water and remove all the stems. Place them in a saucepan or pot.

    Add granulated sugar. Optionally, you can add a little vanilla sugar.

    Pour in hot water and place the container on the stove.

    Boil the berry compote for about 15 minutes and let it cool to room temperature for another 30 minutes.

    Add the dry yeast and mix. Let stand for another 30 minutes at room temperature.

    After the specified time, the yeast will begin to foam and produce carbon dioxide.

    Strain the compote through a sieve and pour the liquid into bottles. Place the bottles in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours.

    Pour the cooled kvass into glasses or cups and serve. On the second day, the kvass will become less sweet.
