Clafouti with pears and dried cherries
The recipe won't take much time. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a baking dish with oil. Place cherries in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, cover with a lid, and let stand for about 10 minutes. Drain the water and dry the cherries. Slice pears lengthwise. Blend milk, cream, eggs, vanilla, sugar, flour, and salt in a blender until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour the batter over the pears. Sprinkle cherries on top. Bake until golden, about 25 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Slice into pieces. Clafoutis can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. The dessert is ready. Serve at the table.
