Clafoutis with apricots

Description
Homemade baking for tea. Clafoutis should be placed in a well‑preheated oven, then it will be fluffier. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Ingredients for clafoutis.

Generously butter a suitable pan and dust it with flour. Arrange the halves of fresh or canned apricots cut side down.

Mix the sifted flour with leavening agent, salt, and sugar. Pour in the milk and stir the liquid batter with a whisk.

Add the eggs and sour cream, and mix well with a whisk.

Cover the apricots with batter and bake in a well‑preheated oven at 180 °C until golden brown and the batter sets.

Brush the finished clafoutis with butter on top.

Clafoutis can be served hot with a scoop of ice cream. Or let it cool and serve, dusted with powdered sugar.
