Cocktail

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. The cocktail was invented during the Prohibition era in America in the early 20th century. It perfectly disguised itself as a non-alcoholic beverage, which brought it love and popularity. You can make it in just a few minutes, and not only a professional bartender but also a young homemaker can handle it. Serve it chilled.

Cocktail

Alcoholic beverages began to be mixed as early as the 19th century, and this practice is attributed to Russian merchants. This cocktail was invented in the late 1970s by workers who prepared it in snack bars with a mug of beer. The drink was cold, so it felt like it was burning the throat—that's how it got its name. For the best taste, use beer with a pronounced hoppy bitterness so that the vodka is less noticeable. Avoid dark beer; use light beer instead. Keep in mind that intoxication occurs more quickly when the ingredients are combined and consumed. Serve and enjoy.

Strawberry smoothie

Strawberry smoothie

The recipe won't take much time. In summer, you always want something cold and delicious, especially with "strawberries" ))) So we decided to add a strawberry milkshake recipe to the "Non-alcoholic Drinks" section. It's extremely simple and very quick! Here's what you'll need: 1) Strawberries (300g) 2) Sugar (to taste) 3) Ice cream (~250g) 4) Milk (~500ml) Actually, everything is done by eye. You can use more strawberries and less ice cream. We decided to use strawberries preserved in their own juice (to give the milkshake a richer flavor). For this, they were previously cleaned of all green parts and sprinkled with sugar. They sat like this for about an hour. Next, take a suitable-sized saucepan and place the strawberries in it. Grab a blender and blend everything into a smooth puree. Add the ice cream (if you want it sweeter and thicker—don't be stingy!). Blend again thoroughly. Now pour in the milk and—attention—switch the blender attachment to a whisk. Blend heartily once more until bubbles form. Try to get as many bubbles as possible. That's it! 5 minutes of preparation. It gets drunk much faster. You can experiment with other berries and fruits... And now it's ready to serve.

Rice mash

Rice mash

The recipe won't take much time. This simple recipe will appeal to everyone who appreciates strong alcoholic beverages. Obviously, heating a rice mixture over fire and adding malt and yeast isn't enough. It's essential to have a still, which is now widely available for purchase. The entire distillation process may take more or less time, depending on the season and the main ingredient—some even claim it depends on the lunar calendar. There are plenty of different ingredients used for mash, such as fruits, grains of various crops, or potatoes. However, the principle of preparing the mash remains unchanged. Many people add various flavorings to the final product and purify it from fusel oils. The drink is ready to serve.

Raspberry compote for winter

Raspberry compote for winter

The recipe won't take much time. Raspberry compote is a wonderful drink both in summer heat and in winter. You can add it to alcoholic beverages or tea. For preparing raspberry compote for winter, you can use either fresh or frozen berries. Fresh ones will give more aroma. You can also optionally add mint, cinnamon, or lemon to the compote. Keep in mind that raspberry compote can generally be stored up to five months. The seeds inside raspberries start fermenting, so the compote may begin to taste bitter. Therefore, it's better to prepare the compote at the end of summer or at the beginning of autumn. 1. Thoroughly rinse the raspberries, removing all leaves and debris. If the berries are wild, soak them in slightly salted water so that any tiny insects float to the surface. Then rinse the berries under running water and leave them in a colander until all the liquid drains off. 2. Meanwhile, sterilize the jars. 3. Mix water with sugar, place over heat, and, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil. Place the washed berries at the bottom of the jar. After the syrup comes to a boil, continue cooking for another 5–7 minutes, then pour it into the jar. 4. Fill the jar to the brim, seal with a sterilized lid, and close tightly. 5. Turn the jar upside down and let it cool. Serve the finished raspberry compote chilled; you can also add ice cubes.

Moonshine mash from jam

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. If you don't buy strong alcoholic beverages but prefer making them at home, this simple recipe for preparing mash for moonshine from jam will be useful for you. Every homemaker occasionally has jam that has fermented or crystallized, or has been left over from two years ago. It's a pity to throw it away—and there's no need to. You can make excellent mash from such jam. It will mature in 10 to 14 days and must ferment completely, becoming sour with a slight bitterness in taste. Test the mash with a flame: if the flame goes out above the mash, it means it's still fermenting. The drink is ready to serve.
