Homemade Milk Liqueur

If you, like me, enjoy light alcoholic drinks with a refined taste, then this homemade milk liqueur will delight you. The recipe is simple, with minimal ingredients, yet the resulting milk liqueur is very delicious. Serve chilled.

    I'll start with a few words about the ingredients. The milk should be low-fat, and the vodka should be truly good quality. Instead of lemon, you can use orange, but personally, I prefer the lemon version.

    Simply mix all the ingredients in a jar or other glass container. Cut the lemon (or orange) into large pieces and add it as well. Close the container with a lid and leave it in a dry, cool place for 10 days. Shake the glass container daily.

    After 10 days, unseal our container and strain the liqueur through cheesecloth. The more times you strain it through cheesecloth, the clearer your liqueur will be. You must strain it through cheesecloth at least 3-4 times for the drink to turn out properly.

    That's it, the liqueur is ready; you can pour it into a nice bottle and serve chilled.
