Lemon tea
You can add all parts of the Chinese lemon plant to tea. The roots, branches, and leaves have a delicate lemon scent. Young branches impart a gentle aroma, while older, more woody ones add slight bitterness if steeped for a long time. The berries can also be brewed, but they have a rather distinctive taste—bitter, spicy, sour, and slightly sweet. It's best to drink tea with lemon plant parts in the first half of the day, as it has a strong invigorating effect that may cause insomnia.
