Description

The recipe won't take much time. The tea tastes similar to coffee made from this grain. Unlike regular tea and coffee, it contains no caffeine at all. It benefits the digestive tract, heart, endocrine system, and respiratory organs. Instead of sugar, you can add honey or sugar substitutes.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making barley tea. Sort the barley grains, removing debris and spoiled ones.

    Toast the barley in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring, until it turns caramel-colored. Remove the skillet from the heat and let it cool.

    Fold a clean gauze into two layers, place the roasted barley on it, and tie it into a bundle. Put the bundle into a pot and pour in boiling water. Place the pot over low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
