Apricot water

Apricot water

I don't know whether Berlioz drank exactly this kind of apricot water in Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita," but judging by the description, it must have been very similar—apricot water really does foam and smells like a barber shop :) I can guarantee that if you serve apricot water instead of the usual juices, compotes, or sodas, the effect will be striking. The drink has a very strong, pleasant aroma and, of course, a wonderful taste. Way better than any lemonade by a thousandfold. Good luck with making it! :)

Raspberry and Passion Fruit Lemonade

Raspberry and Passion Fruit Lemonade

Raspberry puree can be made at home. Simply blend fresh or thawed frozen raspberries in a blender. If desired, you can strain the puree through a sieve to remove the seeds, but we personally don't mind them. It's best to use a fruit syrup with a neutral flavor so as not to overpower the taste of the main ingredients. Alternatively, you can replace the fruit syrup with simple sugar syrup to taste.

Let's make lemonade
10 min4 serv.

Let's make lemonade

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. You'll need: 1 lemon (if you want to make "Sprite")—you could even use half, probably. 1 orange (if you want "Fanta") Sugar to taste—I use 1-2 tablespoons And regular sparkling water. A small bottle likely won't be enough. I use 2 liters. Preparation method: Take an orange and cut it into slices. Next, take a container in which you'll prepare your lemonade—I use a pitcher—and place the orange slices into it. Then take a few tablespoons of sugar, sprinkle it over the oranges, and mash the mixture with a spoon. Take the sparkling water, pour it into the pitcher, and stir with a spoon. Then strain the drink from the pitcher into a glass using a small sieve. The preparation recipe for both "Fanta" and "Sprite" is the same. The taste of the drinks—whether made with lemons or oranges—is just like our favorite Sprite and Fanta. Hope you enjoy it. Your Elly :) Serve chilled.
