Apricot water
Description
I don't know whether Berlioz drank exactly this kind of apricot water in Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita," but judging by the description, it must have been very similar—apricot water really does foam and smells like a barber shop :) I can guarantee that if you serve apricot water instead of the usual juices, compotes, or sodas, the effect will be striking. The drink has a very strong, pleasant aroma and, of course, a wonderful taste. Way better than any lemonade by a thousandfold. Good luck with making it! :)
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We'll start by preparing the syrup: pour boiling water (about 300 ml) over the sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- 2
Step 2

We also pour boiling water over the washed apricots for 2 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Remove the apricots from the boiling water and peel off their skin.
- 4
Step 4

Puree the apricots, peeled and pitted, using a blender.
- 5
Step 5

Add our syrup to the apricots and beat well.
- 6
Step 6

Take a jug and pour our apricot mixture into it.
- 7
Step 7

And we pour the apricot mixture with highly carbonated water. Carbonated, but definitely not mineral water—mineral water has a salty taste and will spoil this drink.
- 8
Step 8

Stir well.
- 9
Step 9

Pour into cups and serve. Enjoy! :)
