Jamaican chicken salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This chicken salad is called "Jamaican" for a reason—it's genuinely popular in Jamaica exactly in the form presented in this recipe. I found it in some cooking magazine, can't even remember which one. It was around New Year's holidays, and I decided to treat my guests to this salad. It's hard to surprise New Year's guests with anything, but this time the reaction was incredible :) So do try it and share your results. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces (small enough to comfortably fit in one bite) and fry in vegetable oil until cooked through. This will take just 3-4 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

We will wash the lettuce leaves, tear them, and place them in a salad bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the pear into pieces of exactly the same size as the chicken fillet. Place the fried chicken fillet and pear pieces on the lettuce leaves.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the chicken liver into pieces of the same size and fry them as well, but this time in butter. Again, 3-4 minutes, until cooked.
- 5
Step 5

Place the fried chicken pieces, sour cream, lemon juice, mustard, and spices into the blender bowl. Blend until smooth, creamy sauce consistency is achieved.
- 6
Step 6

Pour the resulting sauce over the salad. Do not mix, serve immediately. Let everyone mix it in their own plate. Ready!
