Delicious salad with squid
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. We are used to thinking that if a dish contains pasta, it's no longer a salad but rather a side dish with seafood or meat. However, in the East, they often use noodles, vermicelli, rice, and other grains in salads. And seafood is practically a way of life. They commonly eat fish, shrimp, squid, and more. Garnish as desired and serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
I put the noodles in a bowl, pour 150 milliliters of boiling water over them, let them sit for 2 minutes, then drain the water and rinse with cold water, after which I drain the noodles in a colander.
- 2
Step 2
Wash and clean the peppers, onions, peas, carrots, and cabbage, then slice the vegetables into strips.
- 3
Step 3
I add crushed garlic to the blender, then finely chopped chili and lime juice, and mix. I add powdered sugar and fish sauce, then mix.
- 4
Step 4
Put the noodles into a bowl, add the chopped vegetables and fried peanuts, pour the dressing over, and mix. Chop the mint and basil, then add them to the salad.
- 5
Step 5
I clean the squid: cut off the tentacles, remove the innards, chop the bodies coarsely, heat the pan with sesame oil, and fry the squid for 30 seconds each.
- 6
Step 6
I mix the noodles with mint and basil, place them on a plate, and arrange the squid on top. I serve the dish with lime wedges.
