Classic vinaigrette recipe
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For the vinaigrette, you'll need to boil beetroot, potatoes, and carrots. Peel the vegetables and cut them into cubes. Also cut the pickled cucumber into cubes and chop the herbs. Prepare a sauce from vegetable oil, spices, and garlic. Instead of pickled cucumber, you can add sauerkraut. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

For the dish, use all boiled vegetables (except cucumber). Peel the boiled carrots and cut them into cubes.
- 2
Step 2

Dice the pickle. If the cucumbers have a tough skin, it's better to remove it beforehand.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the beet and cut into cubes.
- 4
Step 4

Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into cubes.
- 5
Step 5

Combine the potatoes and beets in a salad bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Add the remaining sliced vegetables.
- 7
Step 7

Chop the herbs. I use green onion, parsley, and dill.
- 8
Step 8

In a mortar, combine peeled garlic, black pepper, ground coriander, a little salt, and vinegar. Grind everything thoroughly with a pestle.
- 9
Step 9

Add vegetable oil. Rub everything well again. Use this dressing to dress the salad.
- 10
Step 10

Serve the salad. Tasty and healthy. A classic dish. The classic vinaigrette, prepared according to the traditional recipe, is ready. You can add vegetables to this vinaigrette—such as cabbage, canned peas or corn, beans—but that would already be a different version of the dish.
