
Waldorf salad with grapefruit
Description
A simple dish to prepare. Later, walnuts were added to the salad, and even later – grapes, with the dressing changed to yogurt or sour cream. In our version, for juiciness and a new flavor note, we'll add grapefruit. This makes the salad shine with fresh, vibrant colors. See the easy recipe below. Serve chilled.

Wash the celery and apple.

Remove the outer tough fibers from the celery and slice it thinly. Cut off the tops of the grapefruit so that the segments become visible. Using a sharp knife, carefully remove the thin white pith under the peel.

Cut the grapefruit flesh out of each segment. Work over a bowl to catch the juice. Slice into pieces.

Chop the nuts coarsely. Cut the apples into cubes.

Mix all the ingredients and dress the salad with sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
