
Millet fish soup
Description
The soup is easy and quick to prepare. I invite you to try an unusual way of making fish soup (ukha). The uniqueness of this method lies in using millet in the ukha. The dish (and ukha is a fish dish, not just a soup) turns out very tasty and nutritious. So, here is my recipe for preparing millet ukha. The soup is ready to serve.

1. Clean the fish, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 40 minutes.

2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces.

3. Then remove the fish from the pot, separate the flesh from the bones. Strain the broth and bring it to a boil. Add the fish flesh and potatoes to it. Cook for 5 minutes.

4. Rinse the millet and add it to the pot with the fish and potatoes. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

5. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

6. Finely chop the onion.

8. Sauté the chopped vegetables in vegetable oil.

9. Then add the vegetables and bay leaf to the fish soup. Salt, pepper, mix. Cook for 3 minutes.

10. Finely chop the herbs or blend them in a blender.
