Pangasius Fish Soup
Description
To prepare panga soup, we will need a medium-sized fillet, several large or a few small potatoes, fish spices (I always add bay leaf as well). Of course, homemade soup is not the same as the real one cooked over a campfire by the river. But this soup turns out quite tasty and healthy. Serve the soup hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the fillet into pieces and put it to boil.
- 2
Step 2

Pork ribs produce a lot of foam—remember to skim it off. Then cut the potatoes and add them 15 minutes after the cooking begins.
- 3
Step 3

Make the sauté: fry the onion in oil.
- 4
Step 4

Grate the carrot and add it to the onion.
- 5
Step 5

In a blender, grind the tomato and add it to the sauté (or simply use tomato paste).
- 6
Step 6

Add the minced garlic and spices to the vegetables as well.
- 7
Step 7

Transfer the sautéed mixture to a pot, add bay leaf. Cook for about 5 minutes. Serve the ready panga fish soup garnished with fresh herbs.
