Description
This fish soup turns out surprisingly tasty and rich. Serve the soup with green onions, sour cream, and black bread. In fact, you can make soup with almost any fish, and if the fish is fresh or even live, the soup will be even more delicious. According to the classic recipe, fish soup is made only with fish, potatoes, and onions, since fishermen usually don't take anything else with them on fishing trips. The soup is ready to serve.

Clean the fish and remove the bones. Cut the fillet into medium-sized pieces.

Pour water into a saucepan, add the fish backbone, large pieces of carrot, onion with skin, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Simmer the broth over low heat without allowing it to boil. Season the broth with salt.

Simmer the broth for 20 minutes after it begins to boil, then strain and return to medium heat.

Cut the potatoes into cubes, grate the carrots on a grater, and finely chop the onion.

Put the potatoes into the broth and cook for 10 minutes.

Sauté onion and carrot in a frying pan.
