Thai shrimp soup
Description
The soup is simple and quick to prepare. Thai shrimp soup cooks for a total of 15 minutes. The shrimp themselves cook in the soup for no more than 10 minutes. Mushrooms are added at the very end. The soup should be spicy. If you can't find some of the spices, don't worry. You can always cook "inspired by" the recipe. You can try substituting ginger root for galangal root, although they aren't considered interchangeable in Thai cuisine. However, I recommend making any substitutions cautiously, in small amounts. Good luck, and the soup is ready to serve.
