Description

A hearty first course. I use pre-prepared beef broth for cooking, but you can use any other broth as well. If you don't have any broth on hand, you can cook the soup in water. Thanks to the processed cheese and vegetables, it will still be delicious, and the barley will add nourishment. This filling, aromatic, and rich soup will delight everyone. Serve it with a slice of fresh bread or crispy croutons.

    Prepare all the ingredients. You can use any broth or even make the soup with water.

    Rinse the grain, pour water over it, and cook until done.

    Then rinse the barley and drain it in a colander.

    Place the diced carrots, onion, and celery stalk into a heated skillet with oil.
