
English-style cheese soup
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. I really liked this recipe because I enjoy chicken broths with potatoes. If you like them too, then give this a try. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Step 1

Pour water over the chicken. Put it on the stove to boil until cooked. Meanwhile, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Cut the peeled and washed potatoes into cubes. Add them to the broth 40-50 minutes after cooking the chicken.

Peel the onion and chop it finely.

Fry the onion in heated oil until soft. Then add the chopped cooked chicken. Fry the ingredients together until golden brown.

As soon as the potatoes are almost ready, add the sautéed mixture, cheese, and finely chopped herbs to the broth.

Simmer the broth for another 5 minutes. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.
