Description
Perfect for lunch. "Chowder" is very easy and quick to prepare. Fresh or frozen corn is used in the original recipe, but canned corn works as well. Bacon can be substituted with smoked pork belly. Ladle into bowls and serve.

Prepare the ingredients for making "Chowder" soup.

Finely chop the bacon and place it in a pot with a piece of butter. Fry for 3-4 minutes.

Finely chop the onion, garlic, and celery stalk and add to the pot.

Fry for 5-6 minutes.

Place the diced potatoes into a pot.

Pour in the water and cook the soup until the vegetables are done.

Then add the corn.

Pour in the warm cream.

Grate the cheese and mix it with the starch. Add to the soup. Thanks to this simple step, the cheese won't sink to the bottom of the pot in a lump and will dissolve more quickly. Cook the soup until the cheese is completely dissolved. Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.
