Prepare the ingredients for the salad. Boil or bake the beet in the oven. Let it cool, then peel. Hard boil the eggs and peel them. Remove the wrappers from the crab sticks.

Cut the peeled beet into small cubes. Place in a salad bowl.

Cut the crab sticks in half lengthwise, then into small pieces.

Cut the eggs into cubes. I kept some of the whites aside to decorate the salad.

Grate the cheese on a fine or coarse grater, whichever you prefer. Add garlic pressed through a garlic press. Dress the salad with mayonnaise or mayonnaise-based sauce.
