Beet salad with walnuts
Description
A simple dish to prepare. Beet salad with walnuts is made by mixing all ingredients into a homogeneous mass, not layered. I think this is important and makes it tastier. Let's start cooking. 1. First, boil the beets. Peel them, cut into quarters so they cook faster, and boil until tender. 2. Chop the walnuts, but not too finely. You can crush them with a rolling pin or pulse briefly in a blender. 3. Hard-boil the eggs, then cool them under cold running water. 4. Finely chop the dill. 5. Grate the cooked beets on a coarse grater. 6. Squeeze the garlic into the mayonnaise and mix well. 7. Grate the boiled eggs on a coarse grater as well. 8. Combine the beets, eggs, dill, and walnuts in a bowl, add salt, and mix. 9. Add the garlic mayonnaise and mix again. 10. You can shape the beet salad into an unusual form, like a sandcastle mold. Pack it into a mold or serving cup, then invert and tap the bottom to release. This will give you an attractively presented beet salad with walnuts. Garnish with remaining herbs and serve chilled.
