Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash the beet and boil until tender. This will take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Cool the beet. Peel and cut into cubes. Set aside a few cubes for garnish.

Cut the onion into cubes and fry in a pan until golden brown.

Blend the beet, fried onion, cream, and soy sauce with a blender. Season with pepper to taste.
