Description
The recipe won't take much time. The Transcarpathian soup is moderately spicy, with aromatic dried herbs and fresh greens. You can adjust the amount of pepper and herbs to taste. The soup turns out moderately thick but rich in flavor. Usually, several types of meat are used for the broth—choose according to your preference. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Prepare the ingredients.

Prepare the broth. Place the veal and chicken in a pot with water and set over heat. Before boiling, foam will appear, which should be skimmed off.

Add salt, bay leaf, a couple of carrot slices, a piece of onion, allspice, and black peppercorns to the pot. Simmer the broth over low heat for about an hour and a half. Remove the bay leaf, onion, and carrot from the broth.

When the meat is ready, continue preparing the soup. Peel the potatoes, chop them, and add to the pot.

Chop the onion finely, grate the carrot. Add the vegetables to the soup.

After 10 minutes, add the sliced pepper.

Pour sour cream into a bowl and crack an egg into it.

Add flour and garlic, mix everything with a blender.

Pour the dressing into the soup, add the herbs and ground pepper. Remove the finished soup from the heat.
