Soup in a wok
Description
A hearty and aromatic soup. The wok is such a convenient cookware that, as it turns out, you can cook not only stir-fries in it. Today I want to show you how to make soup in a wok. I like this recipe not only because of the delicious taste of the soup itself, but also because cooking in a wok is very convenient—you can both fry and boil in it. Overall, this simple wok soup recipe should appeal to many: it's tasty, nutritious, yet fairly light—a perfect dish for lunch. 1) First, place the chicken wings in water and cook them to make a flavorful broth. Once ready, strain the broth, pour it back into the pot, add salt, bring to a boil, then remove from heat. 2) While the broth is cooking, cut the washed pork into thin strips and shred the cabbage. 3) Place the glass noodles in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, and let them soak. Finely chop the onion and grate the ginger on a coarse grater. 4) Now place the wok over high heat, heat oil in it, and sear the pork until golden brown. 5) Then add the shredded cabbage to the meat and continue frying until the cabbage softens and releases its juices. 6) Next, add the soaked glass noodles to the wok (cut them into smaller pieces for convenience). Pour in 1.5 liters of hot broth and simmer the soup for about 5 minutes. 7) After that, add soy sauce, green onion, and ginger to the soup, stir everything well, turn off the heat, and let the soup sit on the stove for a few minutes. Then serve it into bowls and enjoy your meal. Enjoy your meal!
