Soup in an air fryer
Description
Hearty first course. A simple, delicious, and quick soup for any occasion. You can similarly prepare borscht and other soups—the principle in an air fryer is the same. Soups are cooked without vigorous boiling; they gently simmer, yet turn out rich and very tasty. I love cooking in a clay pot, but you can use heatproof glassware or a silicone mold. Everyone will appreciate this recipe's simplicity—be sure to try it. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. You can use any canned meat; in my case, it was canned venison.
- 2
Step 2

Heat a skillet with oil. Add the grated carrots and diced onion.
- 3
Step 3

Sauté the vegetables until tender.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- 5
Step 5

Mash the stewed meat with a fork.
- 6
Step 6

For cooking soups in an air fryer, buy a thin heat-resistant glass pot. I really like using a regular clay pot; the soups turn out delicious and rich. Place the canned meat at the bottom. If you're using regular meat, cut it into small pieces.
- 7
Step 7

Place the potatoes, cut into small cubes, on top.
- 8
Step 8

Place the vegetable sauté on top of the potatoes.
- 9
Step 9

Pour boiling water and add chopped garlic. The amount of water depends on the desired soup thickness and the capacity of your air fryer container.
- 10
Step 10

Cover the pot or saucepan with foil. I cook at 200 degrees for 1 hour 30 minutes.
- 11
Step 11

The soup in the halogen oven is ready. The soup turns out very aromatic and rich, I highly recommend trying it!

Step 12

Pour onto plates and serve.
