Ladle into bowls and serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

If you have already prepared the chicken broth in advance, you can proceed to making the soup. You will need the list of ingredients specified above. If some ingredients are unavailable, they can be substituted. Honey can be replaced with brown sugar. Rice wine can be replaced with dry white wine. Bok choy can be replaced with spinach or Chinese cabbage.

Step 2

For the broth, it's better to use chicken pieces with bones. Rinse the chicken, place it in a pot, and cover with cold water. Cook the chicken until the meat is fully tender. During cooking, skim off the foam that forms on the broth. If desired, you can discard the first portion of the broth.

Step 3

Do not salt the ready broth; we will add flavor to the broth and meat during the soup preparation. Remove the chicken from the pot with broth. Discard the bones and skin. Cut the meat into pieces.

Step 4

In a pot for preparing chicken ramen, pour in sesame oil and add butter. Melt the mixture over medium heat.
- 5
Step 5

Add the paste made from crushed garlic and ginger to the melted butter. Heat the mixture over medium heat.
- 6
Step 6

Pour rice wine into a saucepan. Then add honey, sriracha sauce, white ground pepper, and soy sauce. This will create an incredibly aromatic umami flavor base for the broth.
- 7
Step 7

Pour the chicken broth into a saucepan with the aromatic ingredients. Add the prepared chicken pieces.
- 8
Step 8

Cut the carrots into thin strips. Cut the pak choi in half lengthwise. Chop the green onions. Boil the eggs hard (3-5 minutes).
- 9
Step 9

Place wheat noodles and bok choy halves into the pot with broth. Cook over low heat until the noodles are done (3 minutes), then remove the pot from the heat.
- 10
Step 10

To serve, divide the noodles into bowls, add pieces of chicken and bok choy. On top of each bowl, place half an egg, shredded carrots, and green onions.

Step 11

Optionally, you can sprinkle the soup with sesame seeds and drizzle with spicy chili oil for extra piquancy.
