Pork, spinach, and chayote soup

Description

Hearty and aromatic soup. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan. Finely chop garlic and onion. Add pork and sauté, breaking the meat into large pieces. Pour in 6 cups of broth. Then add fish sauce and season with pepper. Bring to a boil. Add chayote, cut into small cubes. Cover the saucepan and simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes. After that, add a little more fish sauce and season with pepper if necessary. Add spinach leaves and cook for 1 minute. Ladle the soup into bowls and serve.
