Lentil and noodle soup
Description
This soup is especially relevant now, when it's already cold outside and you want not only to eat something delicious, but also to warm up. You can safely store the soup in the refrigerator and simply reheat it when serving. Instead of lamb, you can use beef or pork.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Rinse the mung beans thoroughly and cover them with cold water so they can soak.
- 2
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the onion, garlic, and potatoes. Chop the onion.
- 3
Step 3
Wash and cut the bell pepper, carrot, tomato, potato, and garlic into pieces.
- 4
Step 4
Thoroughly rinse the meat and cut it into pieces.
- 5

Heat oil or fat in a cauldron and add onion first. Once the onion turns golden, add the meat, followed by carrots, potatoes, bell pepper, and garlic. Finally, add salt to taste. Sauté everything over medium heat.
- 6
Step 6
Then pour water into the cauldron, add the mung beans, and set to low heat. Bring to a boil.
- 7
Step 7
Boil everything for about 15 minutes, then add chili pepper, barberry berries, and cumin to taste to the cauldron.
- 8
Step 8
Once the mung beans are cooked, add the noodles (ready-made, or make them yourself from flour and water) to the soup, cook for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat.
