This soup is very easy and quick to prepare, requiring only the simplest ingredients that you can always find in your fridge. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Wash the potatoes well, peel them, cut into cubes, and place in boiling broth. Cook over medium heat for 15–20 minutes.

While the potatoes are boiling, you can prepare the dumpling dough. Mix the egg with flour, add a little broth to achieve the desired consistency. The dough should be stretchy and not stiff.

Fry the vegetables in a pan with vegetable and butter.

As soon as the potatoes are ready, place the dumplings into the soup. To do this, first hold a teaspoon in the hot broth for a moment, then quickly scoop up a small amount of the dough and drop it into the soup.

As soon as the dumplings come to a boil, add the onion and carrot to the soup, along with finely chopped herbs.
