Quick soup
Description
Perfect for lunch. Sometimes there really isn't much time to prepare dinner or lunch—every homemaker knows this all too well. I've been in this situation many times myself, and that's when I came up with this wonderful, economical, and super quick soup recipe. All you need is half a pack of dumplings and a few vegetables. Although I personally prefer rich meat-based soups, this quick soup turns out truly delicious and filling. Everyone at home is satisfied, and most importantly, my husband is full. Sharing my experience, I offer you a detailed quick soup recipe with photos. The soup is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We'll start with the sauté: finely dice the onion and sauté in heated oil in a frying pan until golden brown.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the carrot on a coarse grater, add it to the onion and fry for a few minutes as well.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the tomato, cut it into cubes, and add it to the pan with the onion and carrot. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Pour water into a saucepan, place over heat, add salt and spices to your taste. Instead of water, you can use broth to make the soup richer.
- 5
Step 5

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and place them in a pot when the water comes to a boil.
- 6
Step 6

In about 5 minutes, add the dumplings to the pot.

Step 7

Simmer the soup, stirring constantly, until the dumplings and potatoes are cooked. Then add the sautéed onion and carrot, season with salt, and cook for a few more minutes. Serve the soup in bowls and top with sour cream or mayonnaise.
