
Kyrgyz-style soup
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. Preparing this soup won't take much effort or time. You can make the noodles yourself or buy them at the store. Add hot chili pepper to taste. All main steps are described and shown in photos. Good luck! Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Step 1

Cut the lamb into small pieces and place in a frying pan with sunflower oil. I used meat from a young lamb, but you can use beef, veal, or turkey—results will be no worse.

Lightly fry the meat in a frying pan.

Peel the onion, wash it, and finely chop. Add to the pan with the meat.

Sauté the onion with the meat for 6-7 minutes, stirring. Add the tomato paste.

Mix the meat, onion, and tomato paste. Simmer for 7-8 minutes in a frying pan.

Place the meat with onion and tomato paste into a pot, add water. Cook the soup until the meat is done.

While the meat is boiling, prepare the vegetables: carrots, bell pepper, green onions, and daikon radish.

Add the vegetables to the pot, salt and pepper the soup, and add the spices.

Cook the soup until the vegetables are done. Then add the minced garlic.

Cook the noodles, then drain the water. You can add a little vegetable oil to prevent them from sticking together.

Place the noodles in a bowl, pour the soup over them, and serve garnished with herbs.
