Soup with frozen white mushrooms
Description
A hearty first course. I love picking mushrooms, I love cooking with mushrooms, and I love eating mushroom dishes :) Do you too? Then you've probably made mushroom soup from frozen mushrooms. Haven't you? I'll tell you how. Serve the soup hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We will peel and wash the vegetables.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- 3
Step 3

And send it to a pot with water. Place on the stove and bring to a boil.
- 4
Step 4

Meanwhile, finely dice the onion and grate the carrot on a medium grater.
- 5
Step 5

Sauté the onion until lightly golden, then add the carrot.
- 6
Step 6

And sauté everything together until the carrots are soft. It cooks quickly, about 5 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

The potatoes have come to a boil, so we take the mushrooms out of the freezer. Right after I clean the mushrooms, I cut them into small pieces and freeze them.
- 8
Step 8

Add the frozen (!!!) mushrooms to the potatoes.
- 9
Step 9

Next, add the sautéed onions and carrots. Salt and add pepper.
- 10
Step 10

Finely chop the herbs. Besides dill and parsley, I don't use any other aromatic spices—this is a mushroom soup, so the aroma should be mushroom-like :)
- 11
Step 11

The potatoes are done, so everything else is ready too. Adjust the soup to taste, add the herbs, and turn off the stove.
- 12
Step 12

Let the soup steep for about 5 minutes—and it's ready to serve.
