Korean seaweed soup
Description
A hearty soup dish. This soup is one of the most common in Korea. It can be made with beef, chicken, or fish. The recipe for Korean seaweed soup is very simple, and you can easily prepare it at home. The main thing is to stock up on Korean ingredients :) Let's get cooking. 1. Cut the beef into strips, place in a bowl, and add soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix well and let marinate for half an hour. 2. Soak the dried seaweed in water for half an hour. 3. After marinating, heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and sauté the meat. Do not overcook—just sear lightly until slightly browned. At the end, add minced garlic and stir-fry with the meat for just 1 minute. 4. Drain the seaweed, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water, and chop finely. 5. Transfer the sautéed meat with garlic and the chopped seaweed into a pot. Add water, season with salt, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Traditionally, this soup is served with boiled rice and spicy fermented vegetables. The soup is ready to serve.
