    Peel and cut the potatoes, carrots, and pumpkin into wedges. Mince the garlic and coarsely chop the onion. Then heat the oil in a pot. Add the garlic and onion, sauté until the onion becomes translucent. Pour in the broth, add the potatoes, carrots, and pumpkin cut into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper, bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
