Peas need to be thoroughly rinsed and soaked in cold water for 1 hour. Split peas work best.

Prepare the remaining ingredients for the soup. Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, and cover with water.

Now it is necessary to separate the breast from the whole grouse carcass for the soup.

Drain the water from the peas, cover them with fresh water, and place the pot on the stove. Add the dried mushrooms and chicken breast. Once it comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the finely chopped onion and grated carrot to a hot frying pan with vegetable oil. Sauté until soft.
