Rinse chicken gizzards with water and cut into portioned pieces.

Transfer the chicken gizzards to a pot and cover with cold water. Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Then cook for another 20 minutes.

While the stomachs are boiling, peel and cut the potatoes into strips.
