Rabbit soup
Description
The soup is easy and quick to prepare. You know, I've tried many soups in my life, but this one exceeded all my expectations—perhaps partly because I was a bit afraid to cook it at first. Rabbit soup... hmm... I'd never seen anything like it on my dinner table before, and my curiosity got the better of me. It turns out that making rabbit soup at home isn't difficult at all. It's just like cooking any other meat—no special preparation required, everything is quite simple. Although why am I even explaining all this when there's a straightforward rabbit soup recipe below? :) I've described all the cooking details further down, and now I just wish you good luck. Serve it in bowls and enjoy!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Here are our ingredients in all their glory.
- 2
Step 2

Place the rabbit directly into cold water, add a onion and a carrot, and simmer for 30–40 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

While our rabbit is busy, it's the perfect time to chop the vegetables, namely carrots and onions.
- 4
Step 4

After that, slice the tomatoes and bell pepper. The rabbit also needs to be cut up, as cruel as that may sound—after it has been cooked, of course.
- 5
Step 5

After the rabbit has finished cooking, strain the broth, then return it to the heat and sequentially add all the vegetables and the rrrrabbit, or more precisely, its meat. Add spices, as well as salt and pepper, and cook for another 20 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Add sour cream to taste; personally, I prefer soups with sour cream, but of course, it's not mandatory.
