Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

You can cook the soup either on meat broth or simply in plain water without meat. I cooked the soup without meat. Bring water to a boil in a pot, add potatoes cut into cubes. Season the soup with salt to taste and cook for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

For the sauté, peel the vegetables — onion, carrot, and bell pepper. Chop the onion and pepper into small cubes, and grate the carrot on a grater.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

When the potatoes become soft, add the fried vegetables to the soup. Cook the soup for another 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

In a glass of regular cold water, mix the pea flour until there are no lumps.
- 7
Step 7

Pour the pea flour into the soup and cook over low heat for 10 minutes until thickened.

Step 8

The quick pea soup is ready. Serve hot.
