Description

The soup is easy and quick to prepare. If you haven't tried this dish yet and don't know, serve it with herbs and sour cream.

    Step 1

    Wash the meat thoroughly and cut it into pieces. Pour 3 liters of water into a pot, add the meat, and place it over heat to simmer for about three hours.

    Rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it in water to remove excess starch. The rice will be needed at the end of the soup preparation.

    Peel the onion and finely chop it. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

    Chop the walnuts in a sealed blender container or in a coffee grinder. You can also pass them through a meat grinder.

    When the broth is ready, add the rice and cook for another 15 minutes, then add the fried onions, crushed walnuts, tomato paste, spices, and "Tkemali" sauce. Let the soup simmer for another 5 minutes, then add garlic and salt.
