Rinse the peas under running water, then cover with cold water and let stand.

Finely chop the peeled onion.

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and add the onion. Select the "Baking" mode and let the onion sauté.

While the onion is frying, grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

Place the carrots in the multicooker. Fry the vegetables for 10 minutes (do not close the lid).

Transfer the potatoes, smoked meats, and peas to the multicooker (drain the water from the peas beforehand). Pour cold water over the ingredients up to the "Maximum" mark. Close the lid and select the "Soup" or "Stewing" mode, setting the timer for 1.5 hours.
