Pea soup in a pot
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. Pea soup baked in a pot turns out incredibly delicious. The smell is so inviting that everyone wants to eat it right away. Here, I've listed the ingredient quantities for one pot. Usually, I prepare 3-4 at a time. I serve the pea soup in pots with sour cream, and we eat it straight from the hot dish, piping hot. It's very tasty and filling. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Step 5

I pour boiling water over everything and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. I leave the casserole dish uncovered. When the soup comes to a boil, I reduce the oven temperature to 80 degrees and cover the dish with a lid. I let the pea soup simmer in the casserole dish for 2 hours.
