Peel the onion and cut into cubes.

Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and chop.

Wash the celery stalks, slice them.

Place butter in a frying pan. Melt it and sauté onion, paprika, celery stalks, and bell pepper. Add flour and continue sautéing for some time, stirring constantly.

Transfer the sautéed vegetables to a deep saucepan. Add the shellfish, previously boiled potatoes, and the broth left from cooking the shellfish. Simmer this mixture for 15 minutes. Then add the sliced tomatoes and simmer for another 15 minutes. Pour the finished chowder into bowls.
