
Lentil purée soup with bacon
Description

Prepare the ingredients.

Pour water into a saucepan, add the chicken legs, and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes. Add lentils to the saucepan and cook for another 20 minutes.

After some time, remove the legs from the broth and blend the lentils with a blender.

Add the sliced potatoes to the pot and cook for 10 minutes.

Peel the vegetables, chop the onion into cubes, and grate the carrot. Cut the bacon into cubes as well. Fry the vegetables and bacon for 4-5 minutes, adding a little oil to the pan if necessary.

Also remove the chicken meat from the bones. Transfer it to the sauté pan, then after a minute add everything to the pot with the boiling broth and potatoes. Add salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Cook the soup for another 5 minutes.
