A hearty first course. Sukharnitsa is a simple and unpretentious dish of Russian cuisine. Today I'm sharing an idea. The soup is ready to serve.

Peel the onion and chop it finely into small cubes.

Add croutons made from white bread to the onion.

Place a piece of butter on the croutons.

Salt and pour boiling water over it. Cover with a small plate and wait a few minutes.
