Canadian stew
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. If during cooking you notice the dish starting to stick to the bottom of the pot, add a little broth or water. Do not stir vigorously; gently lift the contents from the bottom of the pot, otherwise you will end up with a "mush." Keep the heat at the lowest level throughout. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Remove all films from the meat. Wash the mushrooms or defrost them if using fresh-frozen.

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into quarters or large cubes, the carrots into medium cubes, the onions into large slices, and the mushrooms into random pieces. Place everything into a deep pot.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the meat into pieces the size of diced potatoes. Add to the vegetables. Then add tomato paste, rosemary, celery, and coarsely chopped garlic.

Step 4

Dissolve the bouillon cube in hot water. Pour into a saucepan, add wine, salt, and pepper. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat. Cook for 1.5 hours after boiling. Do not stir the dish, only lift it from the bottom of the pot with a spatula to prevent burning.
