Kefir and herb sauce
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. This incredibly simple kefir and herb sauce recipe is worth noting not only for those watching their weight, but also for those who enjoy unique flavor combinations. The fermented milk sauce can be a great addition to fish or side dishes, as well as to fresh or grilled vegetables. 1. To prepare the sauce, mix kefir with yogurt and stir well. 2. Wash and dry some fresh herbs. The choice of herbs depends on your taste preferences. Dill, basil, cilantro, parsley, and green onion all work well. Chop the herbs finely and add them to the kefir mixture. 3. Optionally, season the kefir and herb sauce with salt, pepper, and other spices to taste. 4. Peel and press the garlic. Add it to the other ingredients. 5. Wash and dry the cucumber. Finely dice it and add to the sauce. This will not only adjust the consistency but also add extra freshness. Refrigerate the sauce for 15–20 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired and serve.
