Description

A hearty first course. This is a very interesting, albeit not entirely classic recipe. Ladle into bowls and serve.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. First, wash, dry, and cut the meat into medium-sized pieces. Peel the garlic and onion, then finely chop them. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker bowl and turn on the "Frying" mode. Add the meat and vegetables to the heated oil.

    2. Another ingredient that is usually not used, but in this case complements the recipe for preparing solyanka in the "Polaris" multicooker, is carrot. Peel it, slice thinly, and place into the bowl about 10 minutes after the meat.

  3. 3

    3. Meanwhile, you can prepare the smoked meats. Their quantity and variety depend solely on your preferences. For a heartier solyanka, add potatoes, which should be peeled and cut into small cubes. Add the smoked meats and potatoes to the fried meat.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    4. Add tomato paste or mashed fresh tomatoes. You can also use homemade tomato sauce or a sauce based on it.

    5. Now there's just one thing left: add salt, pepper, spices, bay leaf, and pour in water. Gently mix and set the "Soup" mode for 1 hour. If you repeat this simple solyanka recipe in a Polaris multicooker with a pressure cooker function, then set the pressure to 2 and the time to 40 minutes.

    6. After the beep, open the lid (in the case of a pressure cooker, you can immediately release the pressure) and add the diced cucumbers, fresh herbs, and olives to the pot. Cover again with the lid and let it steep for about 20 minutes.

    7. That's it, solyanka is ready in the Polaris multicooker at home. Before serving, add a slice of lemon to the plate and, if desired, a little sour cream.
